I took a ladies Omega watch in for a battery replacement. I didn't ask the cost after all a battery is. battery. The type of watch is not particularly important, the cost of the battery is anywhere between 1.50 - 5.00 (giving the benefit of doubt) plus some fitting time. The chap came back with the watch after about 15 mins, as said that's 39.99. I balked and said "Sorry how much?" "39.99 because it's a nice watch" I asked if it was a special battery?, it wasn't. I ask what the justification was? Because it's an expensive watch was the reply. So if you have a decent watch, ask first. The chap on the market will do the same job for less that 10. I won't be back and I will tell as many people as I can.

Went to get my boots re-soled with a Vibram sole. Kev was looking after me and the experience was brilliant. Hes knowledgeable, courteous and quality of his work is exceptional. Hes a perfectionist and I knew my boots were in good hands. Great job Kev and thank you.
