Unfortunately I had a really disappointing experience here yesterday. The staff werent friendly, I felt like an inconvenience and they seemed desperate to get my manicure done quickly and me out the door. When I arrived I was greeted by someone shouting at me for my name and then telling me wash your hands in the sink. No further greeting or instructions and I assumed I should just find somewhere to sit and pick a colour. I was trying to chose between a few colours and asked if I could see them quickly on my nails to help me decide (different colours suit different skin tones) and they said it will look the same as on the display and seemed annoyed that Id asked them to do this. Instead of soaking off my current gels they used some drill on my nails and seemed cross with me about having to do that (Id had a gel manicure a few weeks prior at a different salon). I chose a glitter gel and asked if it would be better over the top of a solid colour but they swiftly told me its supposed to go on its own. I had three layers (they seemed like they only wanted to do two) and my nails are still see-through. I also had a badly filed nail that Ive had to file down at home as it was broken under the gel. At once point I almost asked them if Id done something to offend them, because they were so unfriendly, but decided to just keep quiet and say thank you. Id been to this place once before and had a better experience so it was a shame to have such a bad experience this time.
