Cant speak too highly about Liz Murley from Viva. Liz advised us in refinancing my in-laws equity release which they took out some 20 years ago. A situation complicated by us needing to use a power of attorney. Liz secured an offer that reduced the interest payments by around 5 percentage points, reducing the yearly interest accumulation by several thousands of pounds per year. Liz also worked to deal with the inadequacies of our solicitors, without our her intervention on our behalf, it is likely the refinancing would have fallen apart at the last minute. Very friendly, highly competent, with good communication.

My wife and I have nothing but praise for Mark and the company. The whole process was clearly explained and any follow up phone calls were promptly replied to. Even though the sale process took longer than expected, (solicitors!) Mark was keeping a close eye on things in case of any glitches. We had a quote for another company offering a similar service, but found Viva very reasonable.

My F.A. recommended Paul. He was very helpful and responded very quickly at all times. Always chased funder and solicitor when they were slowing up the procedure. A little optimistic on total time for procedure, ours took 8 weeks. Make sure you get early clarity on how the funds are received and whose bank account, especially if not a joint account (this would apply to whoever is providing the service)
