Megan's at the old Bell Restaurant (St. Albans)

Worst place Ive been to in St Albans by far, Staff are beyond slow and unhelpful, had to flag someone down just to have my order taken, Food came out overcooked so sent it back and then had to wait a further 25 minutes to be remade. Will defiantly not be coming back and would not recommend anyone going here

Lovely surroundings and atmosphere.The staff were very friendly and the food arrived extremely quickly.I have to say that my wife and I were very disappointed at the very small portions we received.We were given extremely small eggs and a very sad portion of sourdough bread, hardly adequate for a small child , let alone an adult. In addition there was an extremely little piece of garnish, hardly noticeable.All in all ,the meal was very disappointing , a meal that if made at home would have cost way below your asking price, even taking into consideration your overheads, labour etc.
