To be honest, 4 days prior to my purchase, I had no idea and certainly no intention to part exchange my vehicle after it was booked in for a 6th year service and MOT. Naturally, bills start to mount up after this period of ownership and this particular bill was the catalyst for seeking a replacement, which I investigated online whilst waiting in the servicing waiting area. It can't have been 15 minutes before Jon Simpson of the on site sales team called back, though I think he was a little taken a back to learn that we were conversing on the phone within the same room. Purely in terms of the sales experience, I cannot fault the customer service. Whilst the vehicle in question was not on site at the time, Jon did make a point to ensure it was on site and readied by the time of my next visit, 4 days later. Within that time, I received reassuring messages to verify what it was I needed to consider and bring with me on the day and one e-mail contained a personal video vehicle tour of the interior and exterior. Whilst Jon was not on site on the day to assist with the purchase itself, James Holden was. A test drive, no trouble at all and we even sorted vehicle tax affairs before I drove off. The upshot is that I am obviously considerably lighter in the pocket than I had anticipated only 4 days before (though no car stays in perfect condition forever), but I would sum up my sales experience as courteous, efficient and professional. With regards to the vehicle itself, pretty good value for money, though you would have to attribute some of this value down to the purchase process.
