        The start of my stay was awful, the downstairs toilet and foyer were filthy and messy. Probably one of the dirtiest public toilets I've ever seen. HOWEVER, the room was clean and the comfiest bed I ever slept in! I will definitely be back. Nearby activities: Lots of restaurants to eat out in.

        The hotel is in the city center of St. Albans, and it is a good choice in terms of quality-cost ratio. The check-in was fine, the room not too big but bigger enough for 1 or 2 persons, quiet and clean. The bathroom was clean but small. No hair dryier available, unfortunately. Parking is not available in the hotel, but it is not difficult to find one in the nearby.

        Safety: Young groups of boys in an around causing disturbance acting out in inappropriate aggressive manners throwing their weight around Walkability: Lovely 5min walk close by to the large park / pond near the church Food & drinks: Would not eat at this place ever again not if you want food poisoning like I got over priced small choices, much better quality an excellent money for value cooked to a correct safer an healthier standard the wetherspoons is better then the food offered hear an that's saying alot
