        Having attended the co op with my service dog, which I do frequently, I was yelled at from behind the counter- NO PETS. I explained that my little dog (who was in my arms out of consideration of other customers) was in fact a service dog and that I had shown her service card and certificate before and had it on me. The employee then proceeded to approach me and told me to put her on the floor then. I asked why and was given a filthy look and told - well she cant be a service dog if youre carrying her!!! I was shocked and told her she needs more training and should not be so unprofessional and showed the dogs service certificate. I was then laughed at by her and one of the other employees. When asked to speak to the manager they both laughed even more stating that they - deana and Georgia-were in fact joint managers. Making me feel there was nothing I could do or say to defend myself against being treated this way. I felt disgusted and discriminated against. This is my local food shop and I feel unable to use this store again.
