Always friendly and helpful staff here, especially in the clothing section upstairs. The disgusting service received from "Martin" who amazingly is a manager at M&S Stevenage was put right by the good staff here at St Alban's. They refunded my T shirt immediately as it was faulty, explaining that I did not need my receipt as the Garment was faulty. Thank you very much for the help, and may I suggest that this " Martin" so called manager from Stevenage comes to St Alban's for some customer relations training. Well done St Alban's.

I visited the Marks and Spencer's St Albans store on March 26th at 4:45 pm and had a very negative experience. The duty manager informed me that the tills had closed only five minutes before the store was due to close, and when I asked if I could quickly pay for my items, the manager repliee - "only if you're quick". As I hurried over to the automated checkout, a staff member pushed me out of the way while trying to move baskets, and did not apologise for her actions. I was disappointed to see that there was no tannoy warning to indicate that the store was due to close soon. As a loyal customer, I was extremely dissatisfied with the experience and hope that Marks and Spencer's can take steps to improve their customer service in this store. I would not recommend this store based on my experience.
