2021 update: still attending the chiropractor(not Francois anymore but Denis whom is just as recommended) but now monthly for maintenance still recommend 8years later!! i have been visiting Francois for just over a year now and i cannot recommend him and his practice highly enough. after years and years of going to the doctor and being fobbed off with pain killers and also seeing a physiotherapist (who incorrectly diagnosed i had one leg longer than the other and i wore a foot support for 5 years as a result) i finally have the answers to my 'back' problems thanks to Francois. i have been having problems with pain in my back for about 25 years (slowly getting worse and worse) it was so bad that in the previous year i had six weeks off sick from work with sciatica and also several other bouts time off with my back causing problems. at one point i was told by physio that it was because of my knees (knock-need apparently...thx!) and i needed a different foot support for which i paid 50 but then couldn't wear in most of my shoes as the foot support was very thick and also poked out of the sides of the shoes (it was bright blue so hardly inconspicuous) a few days before i started my treatment with Francois i could hardly stand up for even two minutes without being in pain, i remember as it was a family wedding and i had to sit down all day. Since starting my treatment with Francois he has explained to me that the problem is my hips and neck and not my back, i have only had one episode of time off work with back pain and this was over six months ago - early on in my treatment. i no longer need 4 pillows to sleep at night i am only using two i have noticed that my legs also appear straighter when i walk. i can also pick up larger items without worrying if it is going to trigger my back hurting and time off work i can walk normal distances without being in pain. i don't have to rely on painkillers to get me through some days, i no longer suffer from frequent headaches i no longer trip up frequently, i broke my hand as a result of a trip which i can now attribute to my hips being out of alignment not having one leg longer than the other! i could go on and on and on about all the positive things to have come from my starting treatment with Complete Chiropractors, i should also mention the reception staff there as well, especially Sylvia (sorry if the name is wrong) who i see most frequently, also smiling and chatty and helpful, exactly what you need in a receptionist. i am so glad i started my treatment and every opportunity i get i sing his praises to all my friends and family. as a fortysomething person i did not want to constantly be off work sick or constantly taking pain killers,my GP did not send me for x rays, they never tried to get to the root of the problem, Francois did from the first appointment and i cannot thank them enough for getting me out of pain and helping me back to leading a normal pain free life.
