10th March 2023 Transferring my Mum from one care home in Hertfordshire to another in Norfolk, a journey of 3.5 hours. From the very first moment we contacted Met-Medical, they couldnt have been more professional and helpful. Alex, on the booking line was exceptionally helpful to my wife and I, explaining the booking procedure and how the following process worked. On the day of my Mums transfer, the ambulance called me approx. 30 mins before they arrived, allowing us to prepare Mum without getting her stressed. When the guys arrived, Lee and Lee, were very friendly and caring to Mum, which made her feel at ease. They moved her into the ambulance, settled her in and made her feel comfortable, my wife was escorting her to the new care home, the guys also made her feel at ease and comfortable. Once the ambulance got on its way, the guys were really chatty , friendly and caring, keeping my Mum amused throughout the journey. Mum arrived safely, the guys moved her from the ambulance into the care home, where she was made to feel at home. My wife and I would highly recommended met-medical to anyone who requires a private ambulance. Everyone was very helpful, caring and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. A first class professional service. They made a daunting trip from Norfolk to London stress free so that the patient, I accompanied (aged 87), received her life saving treatment and returned home relaxed. The crew liaised with hospital staff so that everyone was fully briefed.

Steve Elliot and Frank Duffy were absolutely unreal. They came quick and really put my mother at ease and my whole family. Tremendous amounts of love for both these individuals for relaxing a very difficult time and making us feel better. They made sure my mother was in the best possible hands. They truly deserve a medal for today and I want to show my appreciation and say thank you.

We would like to share our appreciations to Gemma & Sarah for going above and beyond when attending to my work colleague who had fallen down the stairs. Their duty of care and sense of humour kept us both reassured and relaxed in the many hour wait to get into the hospital. They kept our spirits up and even shared their dinner with us. Not enough praise goes to NHS workers. Thank you Gemma and Sarah for the hours you devoted to us from the moment you turned up until the moment you handed my colleague over to the hospital. Thank you.
