I would have no hesitation in recommending Itchen Valley Training, they realise that one size does not fit all when it comes to dog training and our dogs come with their own challenges (mostly the owner in my case). The trainers have a wealth of knowledge and the sessions are informal but structured to keep the interest of both the dog and owner. They observe throughout the training sessions and have no problem in giving tips for our dogs' individual quirks.

Itchen Valley Dog Training classes have been the best lessons for my dog (and us as a family!) The experienced and patient handlers, Ian and Trevor, understand and like the different breeds of dogs and are excellent at imparting their knowledge to owners to help them train their pets and form that special bond. The classes are relatively small and very well organised and extremely good value... and fun too! Highly recommend!

Ive learned so much from the dog trainers at the Itchen Valley Dog Training Society. The training team are patient, caring and most of all know all there is to know about dogs behaviour, how to teach dogs new habits and how to correct unwanted behaviour. Our three years old boxer is well behaved and our 7 months pup much easier to handle - now that we have all the knowledge acquired at IVTS. We have also made friends , so have our dogs. Everyone is very friendly!
