The bouncer was very rude to me and my friends, he claimed that we are stupid for simply standing on the neighbouring sidewalk. I do not recommend this place unless you want your evening ruined.

We visited during Pub Quiz night and got a table upstairs. Only 2 to play and so much fun. Great drinks and very personable staff. The place is small, but it is charming and inviting.

Although the pub is in a good spot and nice place to sit down and have a drink, the service was appalling. The young lady behind the bar was clearly not happy to be there, she was arrogant and full of attitude. I asked for a taster before deciding to buy a craft bear and her answer was not now as she was busy, but once she was free she made no attempt to serve me. Again, she left me in the bar waiting and went to collect glasses without not even an eye contact, blanking my need to be served completely. Once she was available to serve, she chose to serve someone else. A shame such an arrogance in a such young lady.

Visited Ten Bells while walking around Whitechapel visiting Jack the Ripper sites. Apparently frequented by the victims back in the day - very interesting and authentic pub.
