Having first come here when I was about 14 I was shocked at how cool it has managed to remain / become when I saw Sam Akpro play live more than 12 years later. The show was great and the way they set up the store so people can watch and browse really makes it feel like one of the most unique spaces for live music in London. My only criticism is that the bar staff were SO rude and all the canned drinks my friends bought were actively warm. Cold staff and warm drinks is of course what you expect from a record store show but when you pay central London prices and its under the iconic Rough Trade banner youd hope for better.

Excellent record collection & intimate venue. Better beer options outside though.

5 Stars - nothing to add! Great location, cool staff, some more merchandise would be great. My most wanted shirt was not available in my needed size. No prob. Will come around again...
