Benefit Cosmetics Boutique & BrowBar lounge

Recently visited this store and spent over 100 on a few essentials, including a Hoola bronzer. One of the beauticians pointed out that i'd be better off with the caramel Hoola over the original that i usually get. I said i'd take her word for it as i didn't have time to try it on - she was confident it would give me the natural look i was after. I was gutted to discover that this caramel shade came out bright orange!! I took it back to the store to swap it and explain what had happened, rather than seeing it as an opportunity to show excellent customer care or even remotely apologise for the ill advice - the manager simply said it's not company policy to swap or exchange once the product has been opened. Don't take advice from Benefit beauticians and don't expect them to compensate you. I left with a generic email address to request a refund - despite me explaining that I don't actually want a refund - I just want the bronzer i had originally sought out to buy !
