Me and my boyfriend came here on my birthday after wanting to try for ages. We arrived early but were seated at the bar and were served smoked thyme margaritas - which were the best margs we had ever had, and we have a lot! We had the vegan Bubala Knows Best menu, but swapped the aubergine dish for the smacked cucumber because it sounded so good. With no exaggeration, five out the six dishes we were served were some of the best food we had ever eaten. Highlights definitely included the hummus with apricot and jalapeo oil, the oyster mushroom skewer (which tasted like BBQd meat) and the smashed batata harra. However, we were amazed by everything we at that evening. The tahini used in most dishes was incredible, and we have been inspired to cook more Middle-Eastern dishes since visiting. Its not cheap, but we were more than happy to pay more for the best meal out wed ever had. The staff were also so friendly and happy to explain the dishes to us. Well be back Bubala!
