Overall, it was a disappointing negative experience. I went for a leg veins laser treatment and after the assessment, I was led to believe that it would be a straightforward process. As I became worried during the healing period, I called twice only to be told 'not to worry' and to wait, as this can take time. Still, after a few more months I went in person to be assessed and was advised to repeat the same treatment 2-3 times. I finally managed to find the time and went to the clinic. There, after seeing my current condition, both the person in charge of the laser and the branch manager gave me a list of possible negative scenarios. They both thought I should not continue and I should find another clinic to have a different treatment, as they were not doctors nor 'veins specialists' (I thought treating veins was one of their specialities). This went on for a while always 'for the good of the customer'. Sadly, the delivery was defensive, borderline patronising, constantly interrupting and generally unfriendly. Their decision was presented as if it was 'my fault', my 'expectations' were to be blamed. When I first approach the 'clinic' I had not any expectations nor knowledge, I believed what I was told by people I thought experts. Unfortunately, not at my first meeting, not at the second and neither at any time during the various phone calls or emails the possibility that the laser might have been the wrong approach was ever mentioned. Most of the information provided at today's meeting where new to me. Ultimately, Premier Laser refused to continue my treatment 'for my own good', while I am left frustrated by the repetitive lack of communication and consequently waste of time. In the end, I had the unease feeling that I had put my trust (and my body) in a company and people with a not real comprehensive knowledge and full understanding of the various treatments offered and their effects. I am glad that other people had successful positive outcomes, sadly I am not one of them.
