Its ok, the cocktails are actually really good and the atmosphere is pretty nice. Having worked in retail and service industry though, I felt like some of the staff (one in particular) was highly unprofessional and sometimes even rude for no particular reason. We were just making friendly respectful conversation, but he seemed to think it was acceptable to adopt a mocking and somewhat hostile attitude towards a customer. Since Im Italian and culturally happy to deal with this sort of scenario, I felt like the bartender certainly took too many liberties and crossed the line. He ended up calling me an a***ole for no apparent reason, as I was being nothing but polite and friendly to him. I would advise management and owner to employ more courteous and professional staff that match the quality of the drinks they serve, as the drinks are undeniably creative and tasty.

I celebrated my 50th birthday party at Apples and Pears. It was amazing!!! The staff were wonderful, from Kim who helped organise it, to Reggie who managed the event on the evening, to the fantastic bar staff Kaye and Mohammed and the brilliant security staff. I could not fault it. The space in the basement was beautiful. We danced all night and had such a memorable night. I would go back to Apples and Pears for future events and recommend it to all my friends. We absolutely loved it!!!
