Nelson Ferreira - Art Classes

Nelson Ferreira is an outstanding and very experienced Artist and Art tutor. He taught one to one and in groups, in many galleries in different countries, and I went to his classes over a decde ago when I was returning to art after my university studies. He has practised and taught a huge range of classical styles, from different countries, from Indian miniatures and Realism. He has also taught about the wider cultural relevance of visual art, including film and theatre. I recommend his lessons.

Can't recommend highly enough. Definitely worth while for the novice as well as expert. Nelson really knows his stuff, supplies all the material you require and you'll walk away with a fine piece of art, that you'll be proud of. I focus on digital more these days though.

Nelson Ferreira's artwork is stunning. He is a specialist in western classical style. While we were colleagues at Spitalfields Studios (we shared the same space), he was also learning eastern painting traditions; the guy is always learning!! He will set up art shows during the Whitechapel Gallery Thursdays which are always full and very popular, with hundreds of visitors. Also, he's is very popular with his teachings: he offers top quality courses in classical painting/drawing techniques in central London and his students always seems so happy as they cannot find better artist out there who can explain techniques and the history of art in a better way! I will give him a sixth star if it was possible.

Writing a review for Nelson is easy, as he is fantastic at what he does & the information is second to none. The art techniques & technical terms, that I learned during the class was astonishing. Also for me the delivery of the art technique is important to enable understanding & Nelson makes it very easy to understand. I have been a student, as well as a model for Nelson Ferreiras classes & I must say it has always been a pleasure from teacher to friend. I could not recommend Nelson enough, he truly is a top class teacher, as well a genuine person. L
