Hoopoe Cottage at Lower Mill Estate

Amazing area, lovely house. Cosy inside with a wood burning fire blazing away, looking out of the glass wall to an uninterrupted view across a lake. House has all you could need - clean, spacious, plenty of everything for the kitchen, with the area really secure & well kept for the kids to cycle all round with no fear of cars, motorbikes or crowds. Love it here - feels like a home!

We stayed at this property as a group of 10, 7 adults and 3 children. The communication with Vicky from start to finish was absolutely brilliant, we had lots of questions, they were all answered promptly. The property itself is decorated to a really high standard and is equipped with everything you need to have a great stay, there really isn't anything else you could ask for. There was plenty of board games for the children and adults books, fully equipped kitchen there was even lilos and swimming rings for the pool. The estate itself is really lovely with the added benefit of a 2 outside swimming pools and 1 inside pool. We traveled August bank holiday weekend and it was really busy but still plenty of room for everyone. My only negative would be that the bushes around the house are a little overgrown so you can't enjoy a lake view from your decking but no real big issue.
