Sadly, I wasn't able to submit a zero star rating ! It seems that you need to be at Death's door to be able to speak to a doctor on the phone, never mind be able to step onto the hallowed carpet of their office to actually see them face to face. It can only be a matter of time before a serious condition is missed because someone was refused a face to face appointment in lieu of a phone call to discuss an issue with an accompanying e-mailed selfie ! APPALLING. THIS WILL END IN TEARS !!

Not at all helpful after discharge from hospital. Was refused access to speak with doctor for pain relief by receptionist They offer basic medical services. Mostly a referral practice. Had to organise stitches removal myself

Not great. I've been a patient at a few different surgery's up and down the country quality of care I found very poor.

2.5/5 stars Put in a complaint at this surgery a few weeks ago and was handled well so very impressed by Lead GP and most staff. However, despite my concerns, a similar experience occured. Today, I went for a BP/ECG test, they rung the day before (after 4pm) and asked for my availability which was fine. I was rushing around and it was 9.40am today (not free for another three weeks now). I'm hosting a ball locally and needed to collect my own/other deliveries from the post office, whilst it was still open (10am). When I arrived, I tried and explained I'd drunk enough water and a had a small breakfast bar (not a big breakfast eater anyway, so its normal for me). The member of staff was nice and experienced but very abrupt, when I was trying to explain. I have dyspraxia and need time to get my words out/process. I explained to the staff member that the senior nurse practitioner (very nice lady) would/someone else had promised to ring back last week but didn't (no-ones fault, I/they were busy), because they said they were monitoring me for x4 continous weeks and they would give me a home BP test kit to test for one week. I'm over weight and it's heridatory and their are heart problems in my family, so I wasn't a bit surprised my BP and pulse were high. However, the ECG/BP results came back fine, so all is good and I'll be monitoring now for a week and will update the surgey then. I'd really appreciate if all staff (GPs and nurses, students etc) read my notes properly before talking to me abruptly/lacking any empathy. It's hot weather and people are stressed and over worked but that isnt my fault either (I'm a trainee OT myself, so do understand). Please can my advice be taken on board in the future for all parties involved. Especially neurodivese patients, people who are partially sighted/hard of hearing, the eldery and children etc. There isn't enough measures in place for each person (My holistic OT point of view). Many thanks, Ellie Middleton

We moved to Spilsby 4yrs ago and joined the surgery, after having an excellent surgery where nothing was too much trouble, now we are being made to feel like a nuisance. We now have to have telephone appointments, and send digital pictures to be diagnosed....what would happen if we couldn't do this, fortunately for my husband I am able to do it for him, what if you are on your own and your problem is in an area you cant see to take a pic absolutely ridiculous. What ever happened during Covid, it has taken the caring out of our caring professionals, the hospitals are more than doing their bit, our GP's should be taking up some of strain, but no, we have to now go to the Pharmacist to be help. GP's bleat on about being over worked more like over paid for answering the phone. Who paid for their training that's what I would like to know
