I thought my Martin guitar was damaged way beyond repair after a flood left it warped and in a dozen pieces. But Joe's skill and TLC brought it back from the dead! His enthusiasm for the work and attention to detail is fantastic. I can't recommend him highly enough.

I have two guitars I use for my musical comedy shows. I have taken both of them to Joe in the past year and he was FANTASTIC. He is kind, thorough and extremely knowledgable. I often feel worried about whether my guitars are going to be ok for multiple shows in a row, especially as one of them is in an unusual alternate tuning, and the other has had some deep-seated issues since I bought it. Joe's great work really put my mind at ease, so I can concentrate on enjoy myself on stage! Highly recommend.

After finding my old electric guitar in the loft it needed a bit of TLC. Took it along to Joe who is super enthusiastic and cares a lot for all sorts of guitars. He did a fantastic job of fixing, renovating and making it playable again, it looks like new. I would highly recommend! (Whilst doing the work Joe found the original date stamp - June 1970 making my guitar over 52 years old).

I first went to Gig Gear to fix my acoustic and within a couple of months I needed to get it checked over again. I found Joe's repair shop and I will never go back to a big brand for repairs again. Joe's guitar knowledge and fair price have kept me coming back. I've since been back to set up my electric and was blown away by the service and quick turnaround. From talking to Joe, him and his family have been repairing and making guitars for years and it really shows. Highly recommended!
