I had a 9am appointment at a Peterborough Vauxhall dealer to order a car on motabiliy. Arrived on time to find both of the people who deal with motabiliy cars were not there. In desperation, I phoned Taylor's in Spalding. Lance went out of his way to fit us in the same day. He is a genuine, helpful, friendly and lovely man. I can't rate him high enough. We ordered the car and he explained everything. I wish that I was dealing with Taylor's all along after the hassle I have had with another dealership constantly giving us the run around. No trouble about recommending Taylor's. Lance really went above and beyond.

AVOID! Brought a lovely fiesta ST from Taylors around April time. Shortly after collecting it , the vehicle developed a gearbox whine. Taylors of Spaulding kindly offered to collect the vehicle due to my work commitments. They told me that there was not a whine present, yet they changed the gearbox oil ? I later went back again and the technician who went out with me agreed there was a whine from the gearbox, and that he heard it when it first came in! Upon return of the vehicle initially I inspected the car quickly to make sure everything was well. Low and behind both of my rear alloys were curbed and my drives door was dented! They agreed to have the vehicle back to rectify the damage after telling me that no one would have damaged them etc. Ian Mills the directing dealer principle agreed and promised me the rear wheels would be painted the original colour and painted inside and out as they were from factory. Upon collection the wheels were a totally different shade of grey which looked horrendous, and my fuel wasnt topped up as previously agreed with Ian, yet because he failed to email me regarding my complaints, I was left with no record of this. They looked at the gearbox whine again by sending it to their Ford main dealer, who did simply a standard stationary vehicle health check. No road test, yet they picked up on worn rear axle bushes - ( I collected the car 3 weeks ago!) Eventually after a busy day I collected the vehicle, which the condition is detailed above. I emailed Ian after the weekend to mention my concern on the colour of these wheels - of which he had sprayed all 4 to get a perfect match The wheels in sun light are Primer colour ! All in all the experience I have had with Taylors after sales has been awful. Ive taken multiple days off work to get the vehicle checked and dropped off For a total of 3 visits with the car. The vehicles gearbox whine has certainly not got better, after the gearbox oil service it was noticeably louder, and it continues to get louder. The vehicle has since developed a fault with the blower motor , upon which I was told I wouldnt be offered a courtesy car in the usual manour. I will not be returning to Taylors of Spalding and will be sharing my honest feedback
