        I booked this place for a special occasion several weeks in advance. I have just been turned away by a very rude front of house for having a small dog with me. I made a mistake of assuming that dining in an outdoor space during Covid will be ok for a well behaved dog as the pictures showed separate huts in their garden. I understand that I should have called to check, but would have expected some sympathy rather than be bluntly told to leave my dog in the car (!) or I will be charged for a no show. Its not the customer service we would have expected from a fine dining restaurant as weve been told on several occasions to why they dont allow dogs. Mistakes happen but rudeness is optional.
