I have concerns about the integrity of this practice. I was sceptical when I saw that there was no mention of cost on the practice website, however when I called the practice to make the initial appointment, I was told by the receptionist that the cost of a molar root canal (two roots requiring more than one visit) would be approximately 300 in addition to a 96 initial consultation fee (which is taken upfront); there was no mention of a particular price guide at the time. After having my appointment with Dr Frost, however, I was disappointed to learn that there was a clear cost as to treatment that is neither mentioned on the website nor was it communicated to me over the phone when I made the appointment namely 330/hour of work and that a molar tooth would require a minimum of two visits (i.e. at least 660 in addition to the initial consultation fee mentioned above). If there is a clear fee guide, then this should be advertised on the practices website as is usual practice for other dentists; an intention to withhold this is misleading and unacceptable. Further, on reading the Care Quality Commissions report in 2016, I see that one of the recommendations was review the practices protocols with regards to providing all patients with detailed treatment and cost plans. It seems that more than 6 years on, nothing has been done to address this.

I attend this practice as a new family to the area. They were excellent with my 2 year old and my experience was also a positive one. Friendly staff, knowledgeable explanations of my dental position and good dental work. Highly recommend!

Lovely practice. Staff all very helpful, kind and caring. My treatment was discussed with me in surgery and I was given a written estimate which showed me the total cost and everything I needed doing. Id highly recommend anyone going here.
