2:45 for one cup of takeaway tea . Menu says 1:95 but Im told its 50p extra for decaffeinated. Total rip off . What a hike. Shame on you Further to your reply: A quick Google reveals bulk buy of 1100 Tetley tea bags cost 37.99 or 3.4p a tea bag. 440 decaf Tetley tea bags cost 14.79 or 3.3p per tea bag. The decaf works out cheaper. If you really need to charge 2.45 for one takeaway cup of decaf tea you had better keep the 50p .

Ordered 2 iced Mochas today. Member of staff was busy initially stuffing some huge chocolate mountain into her mouth when we arrived. (I should have turned round at this point) The "Mochas" consisted of hot chocolate powder stirred into a cup of ice and cold milk, which was just a lumpy mess, and was slopped over the side of the cup. A shot of hot coffee was then added to the lumpy milk, and then handed over. No attempt to clean the cup, just a sticky lumpy mess. We took the last 2 remaining napkins to clean them ourselves. The "iced" mocca was essentially a luke warm coffee with lumps of hot chocolate powder. Vile, we were choking on lumps of chocolate powder through a straw. Laughably the girl making these drinks was joking with her colleague about someone else -who made moccas by disolving the powder into hot water....imagine that - no lumps!!! Dreadful, over priced drink (4.25 each!) Despite Southwold been packed and it been lunch time there was as many staff as customers in the cafe. Wont be back.

Lovely place. The food was delicious and such a cosy atmosphere. We used to live near Southwold and gutted it wasn't open when we lived there. Now we always pay a visit every time we return to the area.

It's alright occasionally but we had a terrible experience Monday during Latitude. We went to get a couple of cappucinos and a couple of latte frappes (recommend) and the staff, a pair of teenagers, weren't friendly at half 9 in an empty shop. Drinks took forever to be made but we didn't mind waiting. My partner is also a local barista so it's not a case of not knowing a good coffees hop. The cappuccinos weren't hot at all, we ordered a couple of extra shots in the drinks too, which on the menu are 50p but instead she charged each extra shot as a double espresso so ended up charging almost 20 for four coffees instead of the 13 something I worked out while we were sitting waiting. Staff didn't apologise or offer a refund or something to make up the difference when I pointed it out. I've been coming in occasionally since they opened but its really soured it for me. Go see black dog deli in Walberswick if you want a great takeaway coffee locally. Or two magpies. Or the farmhouse bakery.
