Talking from a relatives experience this year I would strongly advise anyone wishing to commission any work with this company get it quoted for in writing prior to authorising any work. Agree in writing what you are prepared to pay for and be clear what you wont. Watch what you are charged for and regularly inspect what is going on.

I just popped into the chandlery yesterday as we had decided to go to Southwold to drink Adnams and eat Fish & Chips. It turned out to be the perfect day on the hottest day in the year so far. Anyway we don't have may chandlerys in Royston. What I needed was some steel wire and a bottle jack not to rig a boat but to hold up my sagging wooden garage door. They were so helpful at this place I could not believe it. So I want to thank them for swaging the cable for me and providing me with all the bits and bobs I needed. I'll have to sail my garage door to Southwold again now to do the same trick on the other side. Another excuse to drink some Ghost Ship and Fish n' Chips!
