Visited on Bank Holiday with family and what an amazing time. Fair across the road for kids to play in while us adults enjoyed a drink. Food took a while but the pub was extremely busy and we were told about the wait when we ordered so we didn't mind. The staff were working extremely hard especially the lady with purple hair and man with a shaved head who appeared to be the manager. Great stuff!!

The outside is looking a bit tired, but you cannot fault the staff, drinks, and interior. Nice on the patio with the setting sun and of course a game of cricket to view!

Not the pub I remember the food isn't very good service was unfriendly due to one particular member of staff and the high chairs were either unsafe or dirty sorry just wouldn't go there again

Nice size venue and great for sport as lots of TV's with something different on each if needed it seemed. Great location too, the summers out the front must be brilliant. I've only knocked this place down by 2 stars to 3/5 for the specific two areas they failed in today. Service - ignored on both occasions I went to the bar, in favour of a local each time, who joined me waiting at the bar after I was already there. Food - I had the roast beef. My word, the meat was so over cooked, curling at the edges is had obvs been on the heat lamp treatment for a while, plus was as thick as the heel of my shoe. left half of it. The veg were standard, but the roast potatoes were bulk/packet heated, as was the Yorkie. It was solid as a rock. Whilst I did eat what was enjoyable, that's the reason for not slamming a place like most people do. I'm fair. Proceed with caution given the recent reviews also.
