I visited Port Kitchen, which btw is lovely. Unfortunately I forgot to pay for parking and was slapped with a 100 parking fine by the aggressive and completely inflexible parking company the port uses.
I wrote an email to Port Kitchen kindly asking for help in the matter. It was entirely my own fault and I understand why parking restrictions exist but having been there as a genuine customer I felt extremely aggrieved by the completely OTT level of the fine.
Port Kitchen forwarded my email to Shoreham Port who sent me quite an abrupt reply telling me to contact the parking company and that basically it was out of their hands.
And the result is I'll never visit any of the businesses at the port ever again. You refuse to help your customers then I have no choice. Real shame that.
