        This place was horrible on Sunday.The Sunday roast was horrible and was lacking flavour.

        Visited for dinner early on a Saturday evening with no booking. Fitted the two of us in and gave us a table immediately. Friendly service, very good quality pub food and good quality cask ale. A very good pub served the best pub food we had while on holiday in Southwell.

        Called in on spec for lunch (4thApril). Put 2 tables together for us as a family of 3. Then very quickly the lady moved us to a bigger table as 1 was available. Had lovely luch & a good family catch up. Lovely food, nice and relaxing place. Went home with full & happy tummies. Good price & would come again
