3 years of tax increases? Last year was an increase for village wardens havent seen any.... this year another 23.1% increase..... but more residents due to the huge developments agreed..... so the income will already increase. I predict another 20% next year meaning we will then overtake Horsham district councils monthly payment!

Raising the parish council tax by 21% this year with no democratic mandate to do so. So very expensive and nearly all local services are district or county provided anyway. In need of reform. Now they raised the tax again by 25% (making 52% compound increase in two years) so that we have by far the most expensive Parish council in the county.

Absolutely my favourite Parish Council in Southwater. In all seriousness, Southwater Parish Council makes a generally very good job of running a wide range of services for the village. The Parish Council is a Quality Parish Council and is often referred to as an example of a successful organisation of its type in West Sussex. The current production of a Neighbourhood Plan is a major step forward for the village and a lot of work is being invested in this.
