The church dates from the 11th century and is situated in the beautiful village of southrop. The first thing g that hits you is the large ornate Norman porch and doorway. There is also an outstandingly carved Norman font again Norman and only rediscovered in the 19th century. If that wasn't enough there are a couple of elizabethan tomb effigies , and a another empty tomb monument opposite. All in all a top church
