        No wonder this place is closing, pool 150 a game, awfull and rude bar staff , oh and it's Southport

        Nice pub it's a hungry horse, stayed for the quiz, sadly the owners of the building want it back and so it is about close. Such a shame.

        Place was short staffed because of the Queen situation but the staff who were there were wonderful

        Not been to Southport for a fair few years but went recently obviously!. Nicely presented public house situated not far from sea front. Pleasant staff albeit slow regarding service but this was due to Thier shortage of staff. For us what excelled is that there is a dog friendly area, water, cleansing wipes and bowls available and our dog was well behaved and did receive praise from other customers. Where there is a beach there will always customers with or without dogs. Nice to see the Waterfront caters and accepts both.
