        The oldest pub in Southport and lovingly refurbished/maintained. Lots of railway memorabilia and really liked the William Morris wallpaper in the side room. Really enjoyed my well-kept Theakstons XB Ruby Ale. Apparently it is due to close then reopen shortly due to a change of landlord. Fingers crossed that this place thrives.

        We called in the pub today. Extremely welcoming staff. Lovely atmosphere and roast dinner and dessert were perfect. Will definitely be going back again.
