Mum moved into Connell Court just as lockdown took effect . It hasn't been the easiest of times but the staff there have worked tremendously hard to keep the residents happy and safe. There are regular daily activities for the residents should they wish to take part and organised celebrations to keep the mood as upbeat as possible. The Home is kept spotlessly clean and the rooms are bright and suitably appointed. While it is never quite like your own home, Mum really appreciates the companionship, the care of the staff and the security of 24hr support . It also gives us, as her family, peace of mind.

I have worked at Connell Court for just over 3 years, as Administration Manager and enjoyed every minute. Working for a corporate company (MHA) has been a real big eye opener for me , having not worked in a care environment before, with training being the forefront for all staff enabling us all to better ourselves, and with so many policies and procedures in place it is nice to see them protect and look after all their staff and residents. Since the pandemic they have gone above and beyond to protect us with PPE, and regular testing in place for us all. Maintaining regular contact with families keeping our residents in touch with their loved ones has been so important during this time, which I am proud to be apart of. Our residents are amazing, lovely friendships and bonds make with us all and each other. To anyone coming into our home, you will always be greeted by a smile and you will instantly be made to feel like our home is your home too.

I have worked at Connell Court for nearly 20 years . Over that time I have had the pleasure of looking after many family members , and I have enjoyed it immensely. During these hard times it has been very difficult for staff and residents not being able to interact with their loved ones . It has made us stronger as a team . Our priority is our residents care and wellbeing . If you are looking to place your loved one into care , please contact the home were we can discuss the process of admission and any questions you or your family member have . We treat everyone as an individual including our staff . Mark Graham-Grice
