        Very disappointing and unhelpful host. She cancelled our visit with 15 minutes notice when we had driven all the way from London (a five hour car journey)for a Christmas family supper. I do think a double room with a king size bed advertised at 39 per night should be for two people. In fact,this double room with a king size bed is for just one person. I could have afforded the extra 17 required to bring my husband along, Im not ungenerous. However, I think when a double room is advertised it is usually understood to mean for an occupancy of two people. If a double room costs 56 per night for two people, it should be advertised that way. Otherwise, it should be advertised as a king size single room. Call me a pendant if you wish but I have never, in all the five continents which I have visited, seen nor heard of, a double room with a king size bed for one. But if that is what you are looking for, then heres the jackpot.
