Match your expectations to the price point. Positives: good enough location, friendly staff, firm mattress. Negatives: very basic room that stank of smoke and bleach, stains on everything (including towels and bedding), noisy neighbours. Very much got the feeling that cleaning was more a case of bleaching everything and covering up smells with spray rather than properly cleaning it.

I stayed here back in September and it was infested with bed bugs. I got multiple bites during the night and found a living bedbug in the sheets when I woke up, so this wasn't speculation. Based on the number of bites it was likely a pretty large infestation. I recognize that bed bugs are a common issue that can happen at any type of lodging and can be resolved if addressed, so rather than leaving a review at that time I wrote an email about it to the escalations email address they've shared in responses to other negative reviews. I never received a response, so I'm assuming that the issue was most likely not addressed. I felt I should leave a review at this point because the infestation puts people at risk of bringing bedbugs home in their luggage, and some people can have a bad reaction to the bites. The people who worked at the house itself were nice and the price is low relative to other accommodations in the area, but the risk of bedbugs is absolutely not worth it in my opinion. The reviews other people have left saying the rooms are dirty are true. It doesn't seem like there is much cleaning between guests, so given that it's highly unlikely that they ever inspect/treat for bedbugs.
