Two weeks ago, we received a call at 6:58AM asking for a locksmith, as 'someone' from the company has locked their keys inside the van. They booked the job on behalf of Prestige Property Services. When our engineer got there, he has been told that it is not needed anymore. Obviously, as the job was booked very early in the morning, and no one has called the office to cancel the job, we require a callout charge to be paid. We have tracked down the owner of the company, Kenny Alcock, who we have been speaking to, but unfortunately he refuses to accept any responsibility for the job. He says he knows nothing about it, or who booked the job, however it was booked from his mobile at 6:58 in the morning! I personally, wouldn't trust a builder or a contractor, who doesn't know who's using his phone at that time in the morning, or refuses to accept any responsibility for his employee's actions. I wouldn't feel safe, giving him my personal details, let alone my house keys, if he has no idea who's using his personal mobile or what his employees are doing!
