CDS Builders have completely renovated the exterior of our Edwardian property in Hillside. We honestly do not recognise our new home. After years of poor building maintenance and neglect, including a badly maintained roof, rotting gutters, poor brickwork, render which was crumbling and replacement lintels for the interior porch and a flat roof attic extension which had incomplete felting, it needed careful and detailed inspection and a building team prepared to tackle the complexities of retro fitting part done work and replacing with new in some cases. Not only was the service friendly, professional and well quoted and detailed. Carl was on site personally to oversee his team and other contractors eg. when scaffolding was required. The site was swept down each night, garage locked and tools secured. We were updated on changes or additions required once render was removed and quoted for any additional works upon discovery. It can be very disruptive having so much work done but Carl and the team made it as easy as possible. Carefully moving their vechicles to be sensitive to neighbouring properties. Not starting the noisy work till after 8:30am and generally just being unobstrusive. We are intending to use them again for the rear kitchen diner extension next summer and removal of the garage. We certainly would not hesitate to recommend them to other people who want reliable, honest and professional builders who turn up on time and do what they say they are going to do. Carl and his team worked on a large single story wrap around extension on my house and I'm pleased with every aspect of their work. Seamlessly project managed with polite and tidy tradesmen for each specialised job. The project was done within the agreed timescale and the budget only went over because I chose expensive tiles for shower room. New boiler, heating, electrics, smoke/heat detectors and gas work all done to current regulations and certificates supplied. Carl is approachable and I have no hesitation in recommending him and his team to anyone looking for quality home improvements without the stress. Pictures can be supplied
