Arriva UK Bus

Since moving to Southport, my wife and I have used the 47 or X2 on lots of trips. Always a great service and drivers polite. On Monday the 12th Dec 22, left my gloves on a 47 bus. I sent an email to Arriva and next day recived a phone call to let me know they had been handed in at the Arriva depot on Eastbank Street, Southport. It is nice to know, that lost property, willing drivers and staff, are still here for you. Thank you. Definitely five stars.

Awful bus service, staff can be rude and insult customers for using passes, even judging them by complaining of "Ticket inspectors", get serious Arriva, you barely pay tour drivers and the busses are 20+ years old! Dirty old busses with drivers that are paid 9PH, your idea of business is discriminating, how do you expect people to enjoy big windows with no sun protection, worn out seats and constant stops since the drivers get forced on outdated time tables. 1 star for a such joke service, seen a steam train run much better than your broken down delay machines, don't even refund the customers which is again absolutely disgusting business practices!!

Excellent bus service, we have been using number 49. Always on time, pleasant drivers and very clean buses. However, It is easier to work out the moon's surface in inches than understanding the Arriva website for pricing. We had to use Moovit app for the location of the bus stops and I got on a bus just to find out how much is a day saver for an adult is, then got off. A day saver for an adult is 4.60. A female bus driver with a very short hair, today told me that I could get a duo day ticket for 8.50. Why didn't the Male drivers on our previous trips didn't mention this? It can be purchased on the bus. One can pay cash or contactless on the buses. Hence the 4 stars. Dear Arriva, Please, make your website for the routes and pricing much clearer in layman's terms. So, your visitors to Southport can dump their precious cars, hop on the bus, ease congestion and help the environment. I would highly recommend.
