        This is a beautiful church that we hope continues to thrive through time as it has done for many years. I have visited the church each time we go to Devon every year on our holidays. My family initially came from Southleigh where we found them on the census living in the village, In the 1800s my grandfather William Hawkins a farmer was a church warden and his name is on a board in the bell tower. I am very proud of him and what he did for the community. He farmed at Morganhayes.
