A great local shop with friendly staff. Prices aren't as keen as supermarkets but the friendliness and service make up for it as well as the items that you can't get in mainstream shops. There are always plenty of dried herbs and spices which get used frequently in my cooking that I can't find anywhere on the High Street. This was a godsend in lockdown (remember those) when it saved me queuing to get my loaf of bread etc for breakfast so it's another reason to keep patronising a corner shop. Service here is always great and I'm recognised by all the staff as well as the owner who has another business nearby, a cafe, which I use very rarely.
