Today I sat in the doctors feeling really suicidal depressed I have a long history of mental health I was here to talk about a chest infection but requested to talk about my mental health to I was told I could not speak to the doctor about my mental health and would have to leave and make a double appointment for another day Ive never been so shocked at a gps lack of empathy when dealing with their patients that suffer extreme mental health imagine if I was to leave the surgery today and go on to self harm or suicide attempt the surgery would be responsible! Im absolutely shocked and the way Ive been treated here today

Terrible experience, been there for years since I was a child, been messed around too much and also antidepressants prescribed like sweets. I have a lot of patience generally but being messed around and not listened to has got to be far too much. I won't be coming back.

I've always had a good experience with this GP surgery. Dr Hornibrook in particular has always been very compassionate, caring and provided sound advice and referrals were very efficient. The reception team were also very prompt and helpful. I always booked my appointments in advance using the online services and appointments are usually available the following week with different time slots AM/PM. I can't comment on the availability of urgent appointments/booking over the phone. I would recommend this surgery and I'm very sad to be leaving the area and the surgery.
