They completely destroyed a brand new pair of trousers which I had taken for length alterations. The owner was completely unapologetic and was audacious enough to imply that this was damaged prior to them handling. I appreciate that accidents occur but to try and cover up their actions and blame me is completely unacceptable.
Dealing with the situation with honesty and integrity would have been much better than to deceive.
I should also add that you are only given. Price after service. I would never ever go back and wish to warn you against them. Services: Alterations, Clothes pressing

Id dropped off a rucksack which needed a zipper replacing. The lady that I dropped it off with didnt have brilliant English so couldnt tell me how much it would be.
When I picked it up, theyd replaced the zipper alongside the existing zipper, which just looks awful. I appreciate it may have been tricky to do it another way, but the tailoring of this is what I was paying for.
When I picked it up, the lady said the price was 20. Given the job that was done - and the fact that this price expectation wasnt given when I dropped it off - I was surprised by this.
Id recommend firstly giving price expectations up front. Secondly, I would recommend taking a customers phone number. I imagine what happened is that when you looked at it, you saw that it was a tough job. But if youd called me to explain, I could have decided if I wanted to go ahead or not.
What Ive ended up with is spending 20 on something that looks worse than it did before.
