Not the best experience I received today. I watched an Indian Receptionist take a personal delivery call to her home as a priority over a new person joining the surgery. Am I the only one that thinks personal calls should be taken on breaks? Now I know why it has 3.9 stars....

Acton Lane Medical Centre has been my local practice for 7 years. I would recommend it to anyone. From the moment I entered the reception , I felt welcomed, cared for, and completely at ease. The practice secretary Ms Sangeeta Bagaj has gone above and beyond to be sure that my complete health and wellness have been made first priority. I would like her to receive recognition. She was so knowledgeable, answered all my questions, was very attentive. The waiting times are relatively short. I have always felt very satisfied with the service here. The Lead G.P Dr.Akbar Khan and his staff are very good. Dr.Khan is very patient who genuinely cares about his patients. Has helped me so much with everything I have been through! Really efficient and respectful! The new improved look of the office is lovely, modern, clean, pleasant and safe for all patients. I highly recommend Acton Lane Medical centre without any reservations to anyone looking for a top-notch provider.

This GP surgery use to be really good before 2021 but in the recent years it has absolutely gone downhill and yet nothing has changed in 2023. Youve got the lack of privacy in consultation rooms with the receptionists or other nurses/doctors walking in and out of r closed doors without knocking. Half the time nothing is prepared beforehand when youre having an ECG done for example, I was left sitting in their nearest consultation room to the waiting area full of people, whilst they were trying to find the sticky pads (after telling me to undress!!!) for a good 15 minutes with people walking in and out with no regard to how this made me feel. I then had to quickly partially dress and wait in the waiting room half naked for 30 minutes whilst they went to get some from another surgery!! As I explained before there was no privacy screen to change comfortably!!! It doesnt matter if the room was only females nurses, people still deserve their basic privacy to be respected in such vulnerable/uncomfortable situations. This should have been checked BEFORE my appointment to ensure all the correct equipment was available. They are now confused as to why I dont want any medical exams, Cervical swabs, ECGs or my blood pressure taken by them because they completely ignored my initial complaint about this via email. The whole experience that day was extremely traumatising, but they do not care. These invasive exams were all for ADHD & Autism referrals which Ive continuously asked for an update on - I was suppose to be referred to a private ADHD&Autism referral service - I filled ALL of the information that was required of me but yet still have not got an answer as to whether the second referral was actually done! Ive asked multiple times and without the correct help I am completely left to deal with conditions that I dont have any coping mechanisms of and not response every time I ask whats happening! Its absolutely impossible to get an actual appointment but when you do 95% of the time your concerns are not taken seriously. Today is the absolute nail in the coffin, I called for an emergency appointment today for the same thing I spoke to the doctor about (who called me on Wednesday) but forgot to prescribe pain relief or take the matter seriously!! To the have the receptionist rudely put the phone down on me after I asked what time they call approximately they call patients back regarding the emergency appointment waiting list, she responded up to 6:30pm or call back tomorrow - Saturday??! - I proceeded to ask are you open Saturday? and she put the phone down on me intentionally. Absolutely disgusting, not only is that misleading advice but extremely unprofessional. Im absolutely fed up at this point and will be reporting everything to the CQC because nothing has improved. This surgery needs to be investigated!!
