We used Andy last summer to complete what we expected to be a high standard finish on the outside of our house including replacing our conservatory, new soffits, facia and gutters, front door and full rendering. Unfortunately we found Andy to be unreliable, he was frequently late, leaving early (10-2 was a general work day) and didnt come in on some days we had been expecting him. Unsurprisingly the 6 week predicted timeframe became 12 weeks, with further work needing to happen a few weeks later to fix the poor workmanship. Overall, the quality of the workmanship was poor and Andy told us he was finished whilst many jobs were unfinished / of a very poor quality, then claimed that this was snagging when we questioned how he could be finished and sent photos of the areas of concern. He denied that many of the issues were issues (eg, we could see the water pooling in the gutters as they were angled away from the down pipe which he said wasnt true but when he came back and measured it was clear we were correct). He did come back and try to resolve some the problems but this felt very rushed and again poor quality. Less than a year later we have paint bubbled peeling from the plinth and gaps in the paint around windowsills and still feel the overall finish was nowhere near the standard we had expected. Would absolutely avoid in future and find a more reputable company.
