I am very happy with the service from Southend Auto. The car I chose to buy for my sister was exactly as described in the advert, it had a full mot with no advisories as these were fixed before I was allowed to pick the car up. We were informed clearly regarding each stage of the purchase process which took all the worry away. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone thinking of buying a car. Bought a car and discovered it had broken central locking shortly before driving off forecourt. Issue was resolved but as parts took a week to arrive, I was given use of a courtesy car whilst waiting. If only all 2nd hand car dealers were this good. Highly recommend !!

I bought a Mark 1 Kia Picanto as my first car from this garage last year. Old Kias have a reputation for being terrible but this one certainly isn't and has been well maintained while in the garage's possession, of which I believe it may have been for almost 2 years. The car drives and rides really well and is faster than you would expect for a 1.0 litre. It has had some small issues, as is to be expected from old cars, but nothing catastrophic or expensive to fix. The garage owner was very friendly and helpful and owns up to mistakes. The internet price was 1,499 and the price posted on the car was higher as the car was on the secondary lot which I guess isn't visited that often, but the owner was more than happy to honour the lower price with no arguement necessary. Definitely a good place to go for your first car but do be careful with your choice as buying any second-hand car can be risky, regardless of the dealer.
