Wow what can I say , they made the experience easy from start to finish, they went out of their way to talk me through everything and were at the end of the phone day or night, I purchased a car with my mum and they were so helpful and kind that I used them again to purchase my new car.. amazing experience and what lovely gentleman . Truly recommend

Avoid this dealership like the plague. The car caused me nothing but grief, it was a complete ordeal and I lost 1,600 in total. First the wing mirror was broken, then the garage detected more severe issues, despite it supposedly being MOT cleared. The DVLA never received notification of sale, as a result the car was clamped because the previous owner had outstanding debts. I spent months chasing up the logbook myself. I had to take the car back to Essex to discover it needed a whole new engine, [blamed on me for driving it] I had to cover costs/ was left without a car for weeks on end. Then I went on holiday after spending 1,232 only for it to break down yet again, as there was a leak in the coolant tank. No offer of recovery from Essex car sales despite having 6 months warranty on the new engine. In the end I went with Sale on Return and got a fraction of what I paid for the car initially. If I could give 0 stars I would, its cost me money and my health. The employees might seem nice enough, but Darren (manager) is guaranteed to be away on holiday if you ever have a problem.

I purchased a car from this garage and gave 4k upfront of my hard earned cash and put the rest on finance. Yes the staff is friendly but that doesn't change the fact that they're selling faulty vehicles to inicent unsuspecting customers. As soon I left the garage the engine light came on, I contacted Darren and he swiftly came to pick the car up to get it fixed, it ended up being a faulty fuel filter. I then continued to use the car on weekends only because I drive a van for work and I noticed oil on the floor. I took it to a garage that I use and they confirmed it was a faulty oil cooler. I contacted Essex car sales and it was a bit difficult getting them to fix the issue as it was existing before I purchased the car but they paid for it to get fixed in the end. The car is a convertible but has a faulty roof as it leaks when it rains. They said that they will change all tyres for me on the day of purchase but they didn't, there are huge chunks out the side wall. There are advisories in previous MOTs mentioning the tires. I took the tires to get changed and yet again another problem, the rim is cracked, I took it to a professional garage and they've confirmed it is very old damage. Last week I was driving on the a13 and the engine light came on yet again. This time the DPF differential sensor has gone. I traded i a well maintained car for this car, to find the car I traded in was still in my name and someone else was getting fines in my name 2 months after handing the vehicle over. THIS HAS BEEN THE WORST EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD. People expect you to be ok with faults because the car is second hand.

You couldn't ask for a more courteous service. Alas we didn't decide to buy the vehicle, however through the process Darren gave us plenty of time to review the vehicle answering our many questions and above all, we felt totally at ease and comfortable at the dealership. I wish the team well.
