Unreliable service, didnt send out a taxi when I booked it for 2 hours later and I missed a very important lesson because of it

I used the app to book a cab in the morning. When I called the first time 10 mins before it was booked for and no car had been dispatched and was told one would be dispatched. Called again when it did not turn up and was told there were no cars in the area and so they couldn't tell me when I could get a taxi. When I asked why the booking was accepted if they couldn't cover it they just said because you used the app and if you had phoned we wouldn't have taken the booking. How about you don't have an app if you won't actually meet the bookings made on it and also work on your customer service and tell someone they won't get a taxi near the booking and to try somewhere else.
