They charge me for 0.315gr of kataifi/baklava but they put the weight of the box ot top of price. Kataifi was 0.290gr only i scale it when arrived at my house. It's the only place they don't (tare) zero out the weight of box. They should charge me 0.290 gr x 20 per kilo but no they charge 0.315gr 20 per kilo. Are you serious guys??!!!!!!!!!!! Check pictures I uploaded if you don't believe me. I am so disappointed because I was buying baklava a lot of times from these guys. But no trust now. Never again. Baklava was also the worst I ever had it was way more fresh on the beginning when they first started selling by kilo. It was probably in the display for a long time and they charge for the box.!!!!!!!!!! Who charges for the box? Not your butcher not you baker not the cheese man. No one ever charges for the box/packaging at 20 pounds a kilo.!!!!!!!!! Is it a package made out of gold ?Check when you get baklava or kataifi from display. Or do not buy any. I don't want to get robbed I just wanted fresh and nice baklava. I do not recommend this place unfortunately. I was a regular for years. In any other case I would go to the shop just to see what the excuse will be. And I am sure that they would say "oh its the first time that this is happening. We will give you your 50 pence back." But no it is keep happening and I always found baklava expensive in here. But now I know. 20 pounds a kilo plus the extra charge for the box. At 50 pence on top of price. I did trust them and that's what I get 50 pence carrying box for my food that I paid 6.3 for two I repeat two pieces kataifi.!! I can book flights for Turkey and eat a bucket of kataifi for probably 5 euro a kilo. After the experience I had i don't recommend this place for anything by kilo price. Just fixed prices and always as a consumer check use by dates. P.s also kataif was hard as a rock literary. And it had a bad taste not fresh at all. When display is full I believe that's been sitting for days or weeks. Empty display is good. But full display something is wrong. Aka bad product sitting there for ages.
