I booked a 2 hour intro to SUP today to increase my confidence going out alone. I had a brilliant lesson. It was comfortable and encouraging. The whole lesson felt natural. I explained my fears and they were listened too and worked on. The conversation flowed. The equipment was great and I felt safe. Thoroughly recommend. Thank you!

A great place to learn and progress. The guys are friendly and safety conscious which is what you need when you're starting out. Definitely recommended!

0 to hero in 3 days Got into the idea of kitesurfing from friends and love of the water. Coming from a sailing background I felt understanding the power of the wind helps massively. Started on land on a training kite followed by getting out on the water for some body dragging which was great fun despite swallowing plenty of sea water Day 2 I started board starts which concluded the beginners course The week after a progression day following the tide out, everything just clicked, was up on each tack cruising along and just about managing to edge upwind. Once you get up on the board, all of the walking through the knee deep water pays off, it's a great sensation! Essex kitesurfing school is a friendly laid back environment. All of the kit is of a high quality and mostly new I can highly recommend Simon and his instructors if you are thinking of trying kitesurfing

Brilliant school with great instructors. Booked a 2 day course to learn the basics of kitesurfing and hopefully get riding. I was surprised with how quickly we was in the water on day 1, basics taught with small kites then knitting up to go. They also let me have a go on the board and I managed to get up (briefly), which I was very grateful for. Day 2 I went out with the board and was up and riding in no time! Each day I was paired with one other person and we shared the kite, which was actually handy as it is very tiring and nice to get a break (lots of walking as the tide goes out). After day 2 I was good enough to rent/buy my own equipment, so will be going back soon to try it out on my own and hopefully swallow a bit less sea water next time. Amazing experience and would definitely recommend this club to anyone wanting to try out kitesurfing or progress onwards.
